It definitely sold out at the party. I know a few people that were upset they didn't come closer to opening on that day.

Apparently it's rare, but not as rare as this one:

I believe it is supposed to be their "standard glass" to go (at least that's the impression that Mike and Devlin gave me in the taproom), but the first run sold out and they haven't restocked.

It's a great glass, I drink out of it all the time but like almost everyone else I just bought one thinking I could go back and grab a new one any time I wanted...

i don't care about the trade at all. i did however get a big kick out of the schramm's post that was shared as an attempt to educate the plebes on mead.

MY FAMILY VACATION TIME WAS CONSUMED BY THIS MEAD! seriously the guy mentioned family vacations twice.

Exactly my point. Who gives a ****? Vacations, mead v beer, my butt hurts because I don't have this, blah, blah, blah

Oh look a trade for PNW beer >>> Seattle Beer Trade Value Protection Alliance to the rescue!

By all accounts the trade was fair, and supposedly Schramm's is some of best stuff you'll ever drink. I just thought the post about missing vacation time due to mead production was amazing. Like, dude this is your craft, and you are the best in the game. Sacrifices happen. You don't work a 9-5. Probably not appropriate for this thread.

I haven't had Hand of Glory, but if it's as good as I hear, whoever did that is dumb. Hot take from a former Michigander coming in......

HoD isn't that good a deal certainly not worth the price even when it was $100. I know, estate fruit, yada yada yada. Black Agnes and most of their other stuff is better than HoD. Tickers gotta tick I guess.

But what about the family vacations?

I might just show up and drink them on tap. Not feeling like I have to have bottles of everything is really nice.

I only employ pregnant mules now, cuz they have the added privilege of being able to cut in line closer to opening and no one will say **** about it. It's a tremendously great deal, believe me #MAGA

Man, I love the blatant "ISO: 2 mules and their full allocations" posts in BTS. Good times.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks those are ridiculous.... "Not only will I miss this release, but so will my mules. Who wants to wait in line for me?"

Once those get taken care of I'm interested if this will close:
ISO: 2 Flora mules and allocations
FT: $ + what I will say is a REALLY NICE thank you bottle, but who am I kidding? It's a shelfie.

It does seem like this'll be a relatively tame release, compared to HoG and MS. I'll prolly swing by early afternoon after the line has diminished. I'm mostly interested in bottle or two of Raise the Dead, and I'll grab a Corinth if it's not sold out.

Raise the Dead is intriguing (I know nothing about that beer style), but I'm still ok with just trying them on tap.

still only about 250 people get bottles if everyone buys three. i'm thinking 11:30-11:45 ish.

i know nothing about the style as well, but gin barrels + wild culture = sign me up.

I was at HM earlier today asking Mr. SocialRetard about it. He said he had a small sip, malty, kinda sour and lots of gin barrel. They've only got a small keg of Corinth, but he figured Raise the Dead should last at least the whole weekend.

I've got one Gin Table left. Should probably drink it soon.
