Since no one else has started one, I figured I would.

Broncos vs. Seahawks

Here is your place for predictions, rants etc..

As a Browns fan, right now is a bad time for us, but as a football fan in general there is one game left and it should be a great one.

#1 Defense vs. #1 Offense

Seattle gives Manning and company some issues but I'm going with Broncos 30, Seattle 27.

Does Manning retire after this one also?

While I don't normally pull for the AFC, I favor the Broncos with Manning at the helm. My call....Denver by 7.

..and no to retiring. He still has a couple years left.

I would agree with maybe a few years left, but he is meeting with a surgeon after the season. That could determine his playing time.

Well, I know ZERO about either team. That's also how much I even care about either team. As a Lions fan I am destined to be a fan of the commercials the rest of my life.

That said, I will pick the Broncos, because that is also the mascot of my daughter's college team, the Western Michigan Broncos!

OR, I should choose the Seahawks, because Denver's team shares a mascot with my daughter's team, which is cursed.

As a lifelong Browns fan, I feel your pain.

Denver will win by 14+ I am a big Broncos fan and from Denver. I know everyone says we will lose because Defense wins Superbowls. Only think is there defense might be good but our Offense is the highest scoring offense in the history of the NFL. Manning tossed 55 TD's and had 5500 yards passing. Not only that we also benched him at half time in 4 games this season. Seattle does have a great defense but we also have the greatest QB mind to ever play the game. There is a reason manning is kicking butt at his age. He is so smart and get rid of the football in 1.2 seconds on avg. Good luck to the sea hawks I can't wait but then again I know I am one sided because I have been a Broncos fan since I was born Broncos football sundays are like church its a family tradition. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a big Seahawks fan, but I say this will be a close game... no blowout like most Broncos fans are thinking. Awesome offence against awesome D. It wont be as easy to score with the Legion of boom. Plus they are #1 in turnover differntial. I say seahawks pic off manning at least 3 times. No matter who wins, I think this will be a great game. Go Hawks!!

There is no way Manning is going to throw 3 ints. I bet Wilson throws more then Manning does.

I'm just glad Belicheat hasn't made it back o the big show.

How about Cheat Carroll and the CheatHacks? Disgusts me that they are in the SB. Can't imagine being a bigger Bronco fan then I am right now...

Even though I'm still p*ssed about the Fail Mary, I like Seattle just because of former Wisconsin Badgers Wilson and Darrell Bevell. (Sure, Denver has Montee Ball, but he's had a case of the drops this year.)

I smell a 9ers fan. :D

It should be a heck of a game to watch. As a Chiefs fan i have to stick with our division and go with the Donkeys by 10

Ill go with the Seahawks because I like underdogs. I guess that's just the Rocky fan in me. The only talking points lately have been about Richard Sherman but I can dig it if someone wants to show some fire on the field. It sure beats the pattycake that goes on most Sundays. I mean honestly how can Tom Brady not be all scarred up? Lol.

One of the biggest things I don't see anybody talking about is how cold its going to be. I hope Goddell follows through with his promise and sits outside the whole game.

Yup. But that's not the issue. This is:

"Seattle Seahawks Accused Of Cheating By … Wall Street Journal

"Sat, Jan 11th, 2014 | Posted In: Sports | Written by: Oliver VanDervoort

Seattle seahawks called cheaters

"The Seattle Seahawks have gotten where they are today by flaunting the way that referees call games. That allegation was made on Friday by two writers who work at the Wall Street Journal, in essence calling the team a bunch of cheaters.

"In the piece, Kevin Clark and Jonathan Clegg allege that the team’s defenders, “mug, obstruct and foul opposing receivers on practically every play.” The writers go on to claim that the team has basically taken advantage of a loophole that most teams know about but are loathe to take advantage of. The paper alleged that “NFL referees are reluctant to throw endless flags for pass interference and defensive holding, even if defenses deserve them.” This appears to roughly be the same theory as to why teams don’t get called for most holding penalties. When looking of film on an offensive line, you can spot at least one hold on pretty much every play. Because of this, referees need the holding call to be quite obvious before they will throw the flag.

"The Wall Street Journal’s writers claim that the Seattle Seahawks are simply able to commit the penalties, but do it subtly enough and repeat it enough that refs don’t want to constantly be pulling the flag from their back pocket. While the writers of the piece didn’t have much in the way of statistics to back up their claims, they did get a former NFL referee who works for Fox News, as well as a player who lost to the team 23-0 to back up their claims.

"The piece isn’t really one in which the authors are complaining about the tactic. They do acknowledge that teams who have amassed more than 20 pass interference penalties in a season (as Seattle did this year) tend to have winning records. The approach by the Seahawks just seems to be one that other teams aren’t willing to try and that has allowed Pete Carroll’s bunch to use it to its maximum advantage."

born and brainwashed Donkeys fan, and they're gonna stomp the Sea Chickens......depending on the weather.

Seattle's defense hasn't had to face a threat like the Broncos offense; the closest one they did, they lost.

that being said they won't move the ball on Denver's defense very well, shut down Lynch and they have problems.

The biggest variable is the weather, and if it's cold. . .i just don't know. Peypey has proven over and over that he just can't throw the ball in cold weather and that would be where Seattle will have the advantage, yet they'll have to deal with Ball and Moreno. .

should be a great game, i'm super bloody stoked for this, after we dumped Teblow and picked up Manning i said give us 2 years and here we be.. woot woot..

The only thing I have to say about the NFL is that they better get their chit together regarding bad calls by the officials. Watching football has become painful and I am sick and tired of games being decided by bad or no calls by the officials. I have seen too many games that have been decided by the officials and not the teams that are palying.

Amen. I'm close to walking away as a fan.

Broncos all the way. It'll come down to the offense controlling the ball much like they did against the Patriots. Seattle won't be able to move the ball against us, and our O has to many weapons to be controlled the entire game. I expect to see numerous screens, quick throws, and utilizing the backs in space. Knowshon and Ball will be huge contributors. Broncos by 12.
