Inside the quarter growler (or yowler as some call it) is Rhubarb and Vanilla Incipient from Speciation. Got to try a very small sample before buying, and this is the first thing from Speciation that I think deserves hype. Bunch of locals want to make them the Side Project of Grand Rapids, which they definitely aren't, but initial impression for this is excellent, which is a first with them.

Shipping to every state DFH is in where it doesn't exceed the ABV cap. Seems pretty limited by DFH standards, but not limited by any others. Three stores here each got one case. I suspect one other store might get some next week. All of them had a one bottle limit. $2-3 more than standard WWS. I haven't opened it yet, but a friend drank his, and said that it was very heavy on the vanilla.

Couple of boxes that landed last week from non-TBers. Buddy in SC wanted to do his first ever trade. He had a fallen soldier, a Charlestowne growler that somehow leaked out like a stuck pig. Taped cap and the cap was on tight as can be and yet it still leaked out HALF of the 32 into the box. Somehow FedEx disregarded the fact that half the box was soft as Charmin and delivered anyway.

And a lil' haul from a buddy who was in NYC visiting Other Half.

Oh, and a huge thanks to thegerm87 for the Trill haul he hooked me up with last week. No pic as about half of those cans were slain before I even got around to picture time. Thanks again!

I figured it was easier to pad it with my daughter's dirty diapers.

Seriously though, she has recently been potty trained and I had a few left over, I figured it was a good packing material.
