I agree. I've had quite a few cans of it. It's just the more I drink it, it reminds me more of a hybrid Gose/Berliner. I even taste a little salt perhaps? Maybe my taste buds just suck

Put in an Etre order centuries ago. Customs sent it back. I had Etre resend it to @mjpotter (SwoldierBoiTellEm is nonsense - and it's all KWMiles fault) Told Mark to grab a bottle out for his troubles. He fills up the two empty slots with beer from him!! Like I need more beer!!!

This is why why I love this community. The people on it are super nice and just all around Good People. I set up a trade with Michigan for a bottle of FR TB Barrel 1 and he sent me a bottle of Barrel 2 by mistake(Along with my First Schramms Meade), I told him about the mistake and Not to worry about it. Its no big deal and I will Happly drink it. But he still went out of the way and sent my a bottle of Barrel 1 and told me to just keep both. I am still in shock.




So let me just say Thank You Michigan, you rock.

Opened the small box first, which is from swivelhips as part of the "MAW: Shelf Turds" BIF. Shelf turds my ass - this box is just pure awesomeness:

BusinessSloth I can see where you get the gose/Berliner hybrid thing from, I also get a little bit of salt flavor at the end of it. The thickness and tartness of Athena is definitely more Berliner like than gose. Perfect amount of tart for me and an exceptional brew, truly crushable!

NYFRB is an excellent choice too, I love that beer and I'll probably go pick some of that up for the weekend. I wanna try the 10% one.
