Just realized I sent you two coffee beers. I hope you like that sort of thing. If not, throw them at someone you don't like.

So, a while back I posted looking for blood orange gose. oelayan sent me a message saying he would send me a case...for a label. So, I sent one along, and today this shows up. With extras! A 6 pack of regular gose, an apricot sour, and two beers from moerlein. Watch your back brother, there is hell to pay once I figure out your address...
The one on the right just arrived. The one on the left was getting lonely. Guess you could say I've got my ducks in a row.

Ryan_G I heard the opposite. A recent review from a lambic drinker who lives in belgium stated that B1 was drinking better than 2, and that 2 had not developed enough character yet. Interesting. Only one way to find out I guess. Also, could you describe how it was falling off in detail?
Thanks for the info. Was this B1 or B2 you are referring to? Or both?Acetone central. The off flavors were super overpowering for me and it was just a tart bomb, not in a good way. My palette sucks and I can drink lots of beers that other(s) might pass on, but it was hard to even put down a few ounces. There was several people who had the same experience, so again hopefully an outlier.

I had a B2 about a year ago and it was absolutely divine. The closest thing to traditional gueuze I've had from an American brewery. It had a little acidity but not over the line. While we're at it, do you suggest any other blended spontaneous AWA's?
This open to others for the Blood Orange? Texas got one shipment and that was it...If you ever need more of either I got you.
Got it. I'll report when we do the side-by-side. I also prefer most beers fresh, event my non-BA stouts for the most part. I still do have the curiosity of what will happen with beer over time but for the most part I agree, the vast majority should be drank fresh. It was B2.
Nope, I drink AWAs as fresh as possible And dig lots. Well I do that for all beer.

My porch will never recuperate from this one.
