So a few months ago I asked what whiskey I should ask my sister, who's studying abroad for a term, to get me while in Ireland. Yellow Spot was suggested, I passed the message along to her, and the bottle was bought.

Guess what I found today in the US of A at an almost identical price?

I also wandered into one of those thrift/consignment/secondhand stores after a late lunch today and bought a copy of ShawDeuce22's favorite book for $2.66.

Somebody please send me some canned Vermont beer for free. It's been some time since I've put it in me.

Thanks.

Heady x48
SOS x 8

Already domed an Excursions, an Edward, some heady and SOS. Successful couple days in VT. My wallet hurts.

.. . . . . . ...... . . . ... .. .. .... .. .. .. . . . . .... . .

When I was filling out blue_bleeder's box for the MAW shelf turd edition, he asked if I could include some AleSmith 394's in it. Unfortunately, they hadn't bottled it in awhile so we agreed to setup a little trade whenever it became available. Anyways, I sent Barry a couple 6-packs recently. To the surprise of no one here, he went way overboard in response:

Thank you so much Barry! These are all new beers to me and I am definitely looking forward to trying them all (particularly the Grimm and the CS!). Miss you buddy!

LYMI- srs.
Will do someday. I'm stretched out for the amount of beer I gotta send out to make Pringlesfest happen.

However, if there are beers available during #Pringlesfest, I will goandpickitupforyoubro once my obligations are filled. Just shoot me a PM closer to the date.

I read blah blah blah. Send me a label.

Excellent time at Perennial yesterday for the Saison du Fermier release. The locals were more than hospitable to us out of towners. Kudos to Cory and the staff for absolutely blowing through the line within an hour along with the silent surprise of Framboise. Little trip over to The Cellar for some proper glassware and shirt too. That's a really impressive space, and the beers are delicious. Need more Grisette and Fancy Beer.

Most sizes are gone. They have red, blue, and green in that style. They have a few different gray/charcoal ones too. They're incredibly comfortable. If you get a chance to get one, get the size you think you are. They didn't have any larges so I got XL. It's pretty loose.

Two awesome boxes arrived on the same day last week...first, my second ever international trade. This one was with andrewdrinks who couldn't be any easier to deal with. Folks, if you want to know why international trades are worth the $ then this should help:

Not every day you get a 12-shipper of loons. 2x Classic, 3x LPG, 3x St. Lam, 3x Fou and 1x Grand Cru. Going to tuck the guezes and GCB away for about 5-8 years and see what happens. So excited to be stocking the cellar with lambic!!

Oh he also sent a Cantillon tumbler (no pic) and this beauty:

Dem sad feelz: shirt is XL, and I'm a tad bit bigger than that. But, shirt will be displayed proudly in the cellar and I'll endeavor to shrink into it one of these days.

Thanks Andrew!!
