A few weeks capnmike and I talked about the Scratch beer, Pepita, and he offered to try and get me a bottle. He actually managed to get one in the hands of jtmartino for me, but we have not figured out a meet up. Today this showed up with a note saying he managed to get hold of another bottle.

Really hoping we get a chance to grab a beer in a few weeks mate, one of the true good people on this site. Thank you so much you awesome bastard.

Did you try Mama Mia's Pizza Beer? Not something you'd want regularly or in large quantities, but it was enjoyable and true to its name. Given the similarity in ingredients, I'd think a spaghetti beer could work equally well.

IDK man, usually at if I want pizza or spaghetti that bad, I just order it. Food beers just don't sound like a good idea to me. Like, I've never been eating some brisket and thought "this is tasting great, but I wish I could just drink it, chewing is SUCH a chore." I mean it's cool the Mama Mia guys hit their mark but it's an odd target to aim for. That said, I totes sent raginasian238 a ramen beer just based on the food idea.
