Absolutely mind-blowing box from Jas45678 in the SWTFYWTBS BIF.
One of the best dudes out there.

Not a haul, but became a first time homeowner this past Friday and am in the process of moving into my new house. So nice to finally see the beers instead of them being randomly sprawled out in boxes on the garage floor. Beer shelf was the first item I purchased. Still don't have a couch or bed or even a folding chair.

Congrats! Wine(beer) fridge was my first purchase. Being a homeowner is the best

Thank you. It's been such a stressful few months here with the house and my upcoming wedding in October. Glad that half of it is over.

I would love to get a wine/beer fridge, but I think that my budget says I should hold off on that. Next up, a cabinet to hold my glassware. :D

You have a gorgeous rack

I've been mia lately with trying to buy a place so I apologize for posting this late Compton25 - guy drops an insanely generous box in a giveaway; I know this gets said over and over but this community really is unreal.

And then some other buddy sent me some week old hops because he happened to be in the area...

So ant880 snuck up on me in the Piglet-it-forward BIF, fulfilling several desires of mine: delicious Other Half howlpigs -- Yada Yada Yada (Snickers brown ale) and Stacks on Stacks IIPA -- musical reference Singlecut beers that I have also heard are terrific and might have traded for if I did that sort of thing anymore, some new hotness cans from Threes Brewing (seriously that can design will result in hype right?), pepper sauce that I assume has been scraped from legit NYC rooftops, and last but not least a thoughtful Hallmark card for our shared birthday (a few days early but hops is lyfe so).

Assuming I ever get out of work today I'm going to see what I can do about crushing this entire box in one sitting. If I get close I'll work on the pepper sauce too, and if I finish all the beers tonight I will probably eat the card or something dumb like that.

Random, but I have one of these too, and if you fill those shelves up with beer (5 or 6 times the amount you're showing right now), then those shelves will bend a little bit. I saw a picture of someone who had this same shelf and one of the shelf "boards" broke somehow and they lost like 30 bottles.

The next day, I went to Home Depot and bought a 3/4" plywood sheet and got them to cut it into replacement shelves for me. Much stronger. I highly recommend that $20 upgrade, especially because your beers look awesome.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably do the thicker shelf upgrade here sometime soon, but I don't see myself acquiring that many more beers. That's unfortunate that your buddy's board snapped, but damn, filling those shelves up with that much beer was incredibly risky. My sphincter is already tightened up enough with just 13 bottles a shelf. I couldn't imagine 40+ a shelf!
