A short story on generosity.

When harrymel posted this I saw some things I was very interested in.

opening my doors to all locals and anyone willing to travel to Spokane this weekend:

No duplicates. About 50 different beers. Drinking starts around 5 Friday

I PM'd him, and asked if, after peppering RayP and wife's (BravoDawg's) anguses (angi?), he'd be open to trading a few, I'd be happy to send him a list of beers I have to try to make a nice little trade.

He simply asked for a label and wouldn't answer me when I asked what he wanted, brewery or style wise.

I sent the label to see what would happen.

And was completely astounded by what he sent back, which happened to land on my birthday!

So that post I made last week in the RBT thread... the one about the downright ridiculous amounts of generosity around here. Well yeah, of course I was drunk. But there was a damn good reason.

Not pictured: the 8 cans that went immediately into the fridge and the CC Willi becher glass.

BravoDawg sent me this. Why? Just 'cause he's generous. I told him I had no budget to return anything. Didn't care. Insisted on my shipping details just so he could sent me beer.
