My Dad was down at HotD last January with a good friend who is close with Alan and they were pulling samples of some barleywine that Alan had in the works, I guess it's gonna be ready soon in bottles. Who knows about carbonation.
I just tried it a couple months ago and it was pretty fantastic though what I tried was ONE of the barrels that will be used in the final blend. It was mildly carbed.

Looking for a bottle or 2 of Don, anyone gonna be around the brewery for a possible gpiufmb? can send cash/label/beer or SARA/fieldwork trade ;)

Fyi, looks to be $25 for like 15.91 oz?
Trying it today.
Also have chaos from the wood on tap?
Let us know what it tastes like. The calvados component I tried was good. I've seen on untappd that some people think it is overly boozy. Also, please clarify for us what "Chaos from the Wood" is.

sounds like chaos ftw is a maple bourbon barrel aged stout

Yeah, its kaos. Autocorrect.
They do small pours, $5.25, same for kaos.
Kaos is fantastic!
Don... still not sure how i feel about it. In 10 years, probably great! Lol.
Blended still, not carbed. Lots of brandy up front. I didnt think it was overly boozy at all, considering what it was. I expected much more booze.
I honestly though kaos was much much better. Rumor of heaven hill barrels for that one... not overly sweet at all. Its what i expected from canadian breakfast stout, and didnt get.

Moving on to a new beer. I see they released their Resilience IPA today. Has anyone tried a Resilience? I'm wondering how much they will vary from brewery to brewery.
