Facebook organizes stuff for ****, so I don't even know what BTS thread you're talking about, nor can I find it.

Not logged into Facebook on my desktop. Lazy.

This is all you folks need to know about this particular gentleman...

i really hope there is a full sweep of all these complainers for next year. this herd definitely needs to be thinned.

Tommy pays attention for sure. I can't surmise what might qualify for weeding people out, especially with a few consistently and sarcastically throwing logs on the fire and trolling, but I think the true shitlords have shown their colors pretty clearly. If you're posting about purchasing de Garde bottles on the secondary market, it isn't a stretch to think you're probably selling them as well. Again, I still can't believe adult humans with their real names and pictures showing post some of this stuff.

I always wonder about the finances of people like that. DINKs? Just dumb?

based on some of the photos i've seen, these people should be spending their money on some adult furniture, appliances, or artwork for their homes, not dropping $300 on the regular for 22oz bottles of sugar water.

Anyone pop a BT4 yet, and have thoughts on how it compares to BT3? I’ve seen a decent amount of hatin’ on BT3 in local FB groups (e.g., “It’s a complete mess.”), tho I personally love it. Not sure if it’s just a classic case of the seemingly inviolable (but idiotic) law: batch 1 > batch 2 ... > batch n, or if BT1 and BT2 are legitimately superior beers, beyond their age and .RARity. Or, alternatively, maybe I just suck at beer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Full disclosure: I’ve never had either BT1 or BT2.)

I have had all four batches and enjoyed all of them quite a bit. I personally think 4 is the best one fresh that I've had. I had batch 2 and 3 in January and I liked 3 more, just a bit.

I think b4 is my favorite since b1, and me preferring b1 might just be a case of nostalgia. B3 is close behind, and b2 is the only one that I wasn't totally wowed by.

"It's a complete mess, and I can tell. My palate is very advanced, I should have been consulted in this blending process! However, I can say with certainty this vanilla mocha caramel cinnamon peanut butter stout aged in pappy barrels that previously held Hershey's chocolate syrup is dialed in to perfection!"

So... BT3 in a nutshell? To sell more BT4? Plan seems to be backfiring hard given it's still turding it up at dG. NOT GOOD!

I have no idea what you're even trying to do here, but the ambition is strong.

Imma try and further devalue BT3 in these craptastic local FB groups, and then collect 'em all for my own consumption! #strategery

(I’ve had a BT3 on site the last 4-5 times I’ve been down to the brewery, and I ain’t stoppin’ unless dG runs out.)

yeah that sounds like the kind of **** that goes on in FB groups. thanks for bringing it here

#sarcasm... I don’t have time for anything like that, thus the use of the term #strategery. I’m just shaking my fist at people going around claiming BT3 is a “complete mess”.

I've never seen language like that used specifically for this beer, but it wouldn't surprise me. Once I saw someone say that a new Holy Mountain mixed fermentation saison sounded "awful" based on the description. Not "meh, not my thing" or "sounds boring." Awful.

Who knows? The person making that comment about BT3 could be a master gueuze blender from Belgium who happens to live in Federal Way.
