...hopefully

Oh and a side question so we can keep to discussion about de Garde....

Any interest in a faux West Coast TB Anniversary at DG this summer? Rent a house like the old parties but instead of being butts to nuts and waiting in line we could just go crazy on the bottle list and bring a few bottles to share.

Burritos and lactic farts for everyone!

Is September a viable option?

Oh-Em-Gee, YESSSSSS!!!!

Can this coincide with BfNA?
Naw. That's my designated wedding weekend every year and this is obviously all about me :p More importantly I don't think anyone is going to want to go out to de Garde that weekend...

In-ish depending on final dates. Linking with BfNA would be not so good for me.
Troof.

I would definitely suggest Cannon Beach for a longer trip but it's a bit out of the way. Netarts and Oceanside are beautiful, only 15-30 away, and way cheaper. Neither have any amenities like Cannon Beach, which is a legit touristy beach town but I like it better that way :D

Could always head 30 mins south of Tillamook to Pacific City. You can get rental houses pretty cheap there too. Plus, the Pac City Pelican location has one if the most epic brewpub views ever. And fresh Pliny & Blind Pig at Twist, if you're into non-hazy **** IPAs.

Ya, depends on the company too. With wife and kids in tow Cannon made most sense and was really really nice for a fam trip.
Drive to dG was easy, maybe 45min, and really beautiful in some spots.

Hoping to continue that drive to NorCal one day.

Funkiest De Garde yet. Like they captured the air nearest the cows ass as it strolled on a nearby beach and ate some cheese.

I can't **** with the Bu series much. They melt my face. Stick with the The beers and ones like Nectarine Premiere. Which is a favorite.

Anyways, it's up there with Broken Truck 2 and The Anniversary B1.

Anyone open The Station yet? What did you think? Just got my bottle in a week ago and am excited to open it.
I had a small taste at the De Garde event at Belmont Station a couple weeks ago. I really enjoyed it. Super funk driven and I thought it tasted a bit like a hybrid of Broken Truck and the Duo. I think they used some of their older barrels in the blend maybe degardebrewing could shed some light on it?
