am I the only one who thinks The Chateau tastes like straight up geuze and blows The Broken Truck out of the water?
Can't wait to taste that one!

Manzanita is a nice little town and a bit lest touristy than many of them between Seaside and Tillamoo. The beach is lovely there as is the beach and scenery at Oswald West SP and Cape Falcon (nearby). The hike and view on Mt. Neahkahnie is pretty sweet as well. You all have lots of good options!I think this is the right thread for this question:
My friend is having a bachelor party this summer. We were considering renting a place on the coast in the general Tillamook area. De Garde would be an obvious visit, but are there other fun things to do in the area? How are beaches in the summer? Hiking in this area? Any decent towns along the coast? I'm thinking we could rent a party bus and do an evening in Portland since it's not THAT far.

if you stay near Tillamook, this place is amazing. stayed here a few years ago for Labor Day and I think I've seen the recommendation passed around on this board a few times. excellent spot for a group.I think this is the right thread for this question:

Hood River is my ****. I love that town. Tons of recreation options especially with mt hood being right there. Also you have pFriem, stoked and solstice pizza all next to each other. If you're doing outdoor stuff Hood River is an A+ spotThanks for the feedback guys. The other area we are considering is Hood River. Any thoughts on there vs. the coastal options?

If you want to do Portland, would just recommend staying there one of the nights instead of party bussing there and back. Probably flying in and out of there anyway, no?I think this is the right thread for this question:

Plus, 20ish minutes out of town in Parkdale you have Solera, the other Oregon brewpub with one of the best views in the world.

I follow Ferment Brewing Co on Instagram, looks like a really cool spot but I've never had the beer so maybe someone else can chime in.Confirmed, we are doing Hood River (so now this isn't the right thread).
This spot is definitely on the agenda. Probably going to do a brewery day. Other than Solera, pFriem, stoked and solstice, what are other worthwhile spots.
Also probably doing a rafting day if anyone has tips on that. I don't know **** about rafting or Hood River!
I see it's a stone's throw from Pfriem, so that was appealing. We'll probably get a party bus to get around a bit more, so we aren't limited to the downtown area.I follow Ferment Brewing Co on Instagram, looks like a really cool spot but I've never had the beer so maybe someone else can chime in.

Confirmed. Definitely an upscale vibe. I believe the term we used was "built to be sold to inbev". Food looked good and beers were alright. Worth checking out for the architecture tho.I went to Ferment with abawol01 the last time we were in Hood River and it's in a super rad building architecturally but definitely had an upscale vibe that was not really my scene. I've felt comfortable everywhere I've been in Hood River with a post-hike sweaty/muddy thing going on but less so there. Just my two cents. We finished our one beer and went over to pFriem. However, since they're so close it's probably worth checking out just to form your own opinion.
That view is going to be killer during the summertime.Confirmed. Definitely an upscale vibe. I believe the term we used was "built to be sold to inbev". Food looked good and beers were alright. Worth checking out for the architecture tho.
