Every beer looks the same not clear like yalls post a pint thread smells like cantaloupe (sp) and taste like sweet tea! What am i doing wrong? I havent tasted this one yet and its a ipa. Do i i need to give it more time before bottling?

How long has it been fermenting, what was your recipe, what temp were you fermenting at, etc.

Unfermented wort tastes like sweet tea - are your beers finished fermenting?

Dry hop. no
Fruit just lemon zest
Temps having hell of a time keeping temp regular
i guess im not giving it enough time?

Are you taking gravity readings? How long are you fermenting before you bottle? It should be like 2-3 weeks minumum.

It sounds like you are bottling before you reach FG, leaving residual sugars in your final beer.

It would be very helpful if you posted your recipe and a few notes about your process.

The biggest question is how long after pitching the yeast did you let it sit before tasting? It needs 2-3 weeks to ferment before you can bottle.

Do yourself (and us) a favor and get a hydrometer so you can measure how much sugar is in the beer. It will help you not make bottle bombs too.
