Ok, a 3 hour drive home from the actual Cape managed to chill me down to where I only want to chew up a football now - and not jamb it up someone's @ss!!

Nobody flying home from that game that should be feeling like they did their job. Our OC got stuck in a "run it up the middle" loop for half the game when the passing game was the only thing actually working; our HC didn't have the smarts to run the ball on fourth and goal with 20-something seconds left and took a friggin' field goal instead; and the way the defense played there's a long list of fouls by the DC.

The O-line could not drill a single hole between the tackles all day and allowed Brady another episode of Happy Feet with the pass "blocking"; our linebackers were MIA most of the game or solidly hitting the wrong gaps; Brady ate a sack with no time outs to end the half instead of throwing the ball away and allowing a chip shot FG; and The Ghost suddenly became High Risk.

All in one *&%$#@! game, fer chrissakes! Sheesh.

I need a smoke and another beer, stat!
