This whole thing with Rodgers is too bad. When you really boil it all down, I don’t know how you can come to any conclusion other than his entire career has been a total sham.

Not sure the notion of a QB checking off to a different play deserves such blaring fonts
I have to believe The Goat has pretty much carte blanche wrt play calling after reading the defense...

No, it’s not just checking off to a different play given the defensive look at the line and the overwhelming majority of QBs have, and use, that authority.
What Rodgers does, more than other QBs, is refuse to take what the natural progression of the play is meant to produce. What I mean is, McCarthy will call a play that is specifically designed to pick up 5-10 yards... Rodgers will have a guy wide open, say, in the flat.... and he won’t pull the trigger. Instead he’ll try to buy time by rolling out trying to make a bigger play.
The problem is the play isn’t designed for him to roll out so protection breaks down... or receivers aren’t wide open like the guy in the flat was. Now you have a busted “sand lot” play... which.. Rodgers has made more than missed given how physically gifted he.... was.
Now he’s not making as many of those plays but is still freelancing like he always has. The result is what you see... a shtty offense and a fired coach.
If Rodgers just ran the effin play as called, he would have more open options and pick up consistent yards instead of what they have now.... which again... is a pile of crap.
But I guess it’s everyone else’s fault on that team. Not Aaron’s. No, no.
Pffft

Wow. That is by far the longest and most obtuse justification for Brady throwing 5 yard dinks. So delusional. No, it’s not just checking off to a different play given the defensive look at the line and the overwhelming majority of QBs have, and use, that authority.

But You’re making an assumption that If the 2nd or 3rd read isn’t there that the roll out was just his idea.
I disagree. I wish I could find the audio of this press conference I heard on the radio. What could go wrong?Having already witnessed Philbin as HC, I don't see that happening.
Umm cape, not sure if you realize this but I'm not actually on the team... Oh wait, you must think that you're a Patriot? Now I understand. Poor man. So delusional.I would prefer it if your filthy 4-7-1 fingers didn’t even type the GOAT’s name.
