Uhh...I'm pretty sure consistently losing to Brady year and year out, and watching Pats teams devoid of real talent (Brady and Gronk aside) just rack up wins has imprinted upon us Jets fans the critical importance of good QB play. It's beyond apparent how desperate they have been for it over the years - Brett Favre, over-reaching for Sanchez, trading for Tebow, drafting Geno, signing Vick last season, and now Fitz - you can't win without a good QB. We haven't had one since Pennington and he was middle of the road. We arguably haven't had an above QB since Testaverde.

This is the same problem the Eagles have had since mcnabb. I don't see an answer in the near future because the Eagles will be stuck at 8 or 9 wins each season which will not get you a good enough draft pick to get a franchise QB (typically, unless you hit the powerball in the 6th round), and good QBs are locked up with their current teams so forget free agency.

Then you get stuck watching Kevin kolb, Jeff Garcia, Mike Vick, nick foles, and Sam Bradford.

verb
gerund or present participle: dominating
have a commanding influence on; exercise control over.

Pats and Seattle fans - this is what dominating means. It doesn't mean a come from behind 4th quarter win or a ho hum 20-3 win over Colin Kaepernick.

Jerry Jones got dominated by simple math over the weekend. It would have been great if he showed up to the game with a Romo game jersey on. Nothing like having your GM having no clue what's going on with their team. When is his son Stephen going to be handed over the reigns? I'm sure he is a chip off the old block.

yer mom knows what it's like to have came from behind...

I love watching the Pats dominate like they did yesterday. It just makes the whole week that much better.

the best thing about the internet is that we have record of your half-fan-hedging-i-don't-like-this-matchup-i-had-a-bad-feeling-about-this-game stupidfanning.

congrats, cape. you are the worst kind of fan.

Although realism has no place here, there is a such thing about being realistic about the team you root for. Jets actually match up decent with the Patriots as was apparent on the field. They both suck taint though...

go back to your wheel. cape has historically blasted half-fans for the same offenses he has committed. If jesus has taught us anything, it's that we need to turn the other cheek, so that we can get more momentum when we sucker-punch the guy in the face.

Hear, hear!!

This thread was oddly quiet all last week. Seems the Pats fans were a little bit nervous about this match up and suddenly they're all back on here the day after! What an interesting coincidence.

Please... A dominating Pats performance was never in question. I was simply saying the Pats might not keep up with their record-breaking scoring pace... But luckily they did

Pretty sure I was guaranteeing a win last week. I did think Fitz would have 9 interceptions, but hey, smart money was lots of turnovers. Imagine if Fitz played like he normally plays against the pats.
No worries about the game in December. Pats will have the number 1 seed down up by then.

So, you're upset the loyal Patriot regiment didn't spend the entire week bashing you senseless for being the fan of a team that we up here pretty much dismissed as irrelevant back in August?

Interesting indeed...

Cheers!

Just pointing out the spinelessness of Pats fans that's all. Of course you can try to pretend that a group of low brow massholes have class - nobody will believe that for a moment.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You left out the baby eating.

Whatever helps you get through the season.

Meanwhile, Patriots fans are enjoying the view as we ride the express train to Super Bowl Fitty...

Cheers! ;)

I bet you guys put that on your résumés don't you?

Wait, let me explain, a résumé is a document (piece of paper) that you give to prospective employers (person you're trying to trick into hiring you)

If the gauge is the most obnoxious I'd agree. I'd also see you all being the first to check out when the chips are down.

Don't need a resume when you own the company.

In other news, can you believe the Pats beat the #1 defense with only 18 offensive players on the active roster? And one of those guys was Matthew Slater! When will the Patriots stop amazing us?

Sounds like slayin poon to me...

Cooter was arrested in 2006 for DUI, but he was arrested again for a more serious – and bizarre – offense in 2009. According to WVLT in Knoxville, Tenn., Cooter was charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly getting into bed with a woman after climbing into the window of her apartment and stripping down to his underwear. The woman called the police, who arrested Cooter, and he was released on a $10,000 bond the next day.

Meh. That's weak sauce, son.

Wait- let me explain: a resume is for someone who doesn't have a strong enough reputation.

The only resume I ever wrote was the one right out of college in 1973 and indeed got me hired by IBM.

A handful of years later someone at Cambex poached me, then 6 years later someone at Digital poached me, then 17 years later someone at Stratus poached me. 8 years later I tried to retire and ended up being recruited as a contractor.

42 years and counting on that one resume...

Cheers! :mug:
