Can't wait till the third week of the season, when the dolphins fans realize they aren't going to make the playoffs again, and go check out the wood fired pizza oven thread.
Some in this thread are so f&cking sensitive. Maybe you should use some

so it doesn't hurt so much.
Eh...Brady handled throwing to scrubs last year without too much complaint. Mankins isn't a devastating loss.
Cape Dufus said:Hey Tomme... when even a Jets fan (Darwin) chalks up your Pats trash talk as a joke.... it might be time to give it up.
But was that when the cheating started? I suppose that makes sense with the green quarterback.Oh no... What a horrible memory... Please. Don't show that.
That was the play that started Brady's career and him winning the SB bowl that year and then two more in the next three years.
Go Jets?
Trouble in Paradise?
Brady Very Upset with Mankins trade
^^ Lawyer Malloy, but the point stands.
And Brady's been around long enough to know how things work in New England. ****, it's no more dramatic than Welker being allowed to leave. I'm sure he's pissed, but he'll get over that and put it behind him, just like he's done every other time.
Less of a point and more of a random story about an unrelated event. Welker's replacement screwing up doesn't land Brady on the IR.
I actually get the rationale behind a cap casualty (or cap relief via trade in this case) but I thought actual rational football talk wasn't what this thread was for.Mankins isn't the same player he once was, and they like the young (cheap) players they have on the line - and this frees up money to pay guys like Revis next year. They'll spend the money, they always do.
It's the same thing the Pats do every year - they cut ties with a fan favorite, everyone runs around like a headless chicken, and it's a nonevent. Same thing happened with Richard Seymour. The only time this kind of move didn't really pay off in the end was when they let Ty Law walk; otherwise, getting rid of guys as soon as they start to decline and become overpaid, that's been smart.

This is going to open up a lot of opponent disrespect, but since I think that's bad Karma, I'm ok with that: The fins have a pretty mean pass rush, and with Earl Mitchell in addition to Randy Starks and Jared Odrick (moved inside) the pressures not just going to come from the edges (Vernon and Wake) in week 1. At the very least, I'd be concerned about my QB who's carrying 33M in dead cap money facing a top 5 (AFC) pass rush (that improved since last year) in week 1 with even a minor question mark taking the place of a 6 time probowler.
But like I said, I'm sure folks aren't worried about the Fins. It's not like they beat the Pats the last time they played or anything...oh wait.
