The only starting LT spot Jonathan Martin has ever held down is the NFL All-Crybaby Team and if he ever comes back he won't be displacing Mt. McKinnie. Incognito will be back and so will Pouncy. And would you know, even with two legit starters out the line played arguably its best game all season.

The only thing the media attention has done is to motivate the offensive line. And with that cancer Martin likely gone for good I would be willing to bet that they'll win another four games.

It wasn't a penalty because the ball was so poorly thrown that gronkowski wouldn't have been able to make a play on it regardless of whether he was being held.

Who knows what would've happened on the follow up attempt, after the penalty was assessed. The Pats still could've lost (fat chance of that how their ground game was going, but hey)... Fact is, the way Gronkowski got mugged, there should have been a penalty. Can't wait to see the official explanation on that o e in the morning.

Other than that, I thought Newton played a pretty impressive game, when he wasn't mugging for the camera and handing out footballs to cute little kids in the stands...

If that happened to any team but the Pats, you guys would have called it a penalty. Stop being so damn stupid. It was a penalty. Even the commentators said it was a penalty. The ball was thrown and Gronk was bear hugged. Penalty. The ball was 2 yards in front of him. If he wasn't held he could have made a play towards the ball. If you guys think that wasn't a penalty, then you really don't know much about football.

With that said (and I know I will get some stupid remarks back about that) the Pats lost that game well before that play. I haven't watched any Panthers games but Cam did better than I expected. I'm not a fan of running QBs but Cam does it better than most. Not the best throwing QB but he is still young and can grow. Might not be an elite QB but will be up there.

No I'm not making excuses for the loss. They lost and that is fine. They lost well before that play. Hell even when they were winning by 3 I didn't think they were playing well enough to win. Still doesn't make the non call right.

Complaining on the other hand, yes fine I'm complaining. A flag was thrown. A penalty was made. A call should have been made but instead the flag was picked up. Yes of course flags have been thrown and picked up before but this was definitely a penalty and should have been called.
