I guess I'm gonna have to be that a$$hole.

Patriots since 2001:

146-46

Playoff Appearances: 24
Playoff Record: 17-7 including 3 Superbowl victories

*please note the combined total playoff appearances of the Packers, Jets and Dolphins is equal to the Patriots playoff wins.

HOLY CRAP!!!! You guys made it to the playoff round 24 times in 11 seasons??? How is that even possi... oh wait, I forgot, you guys cheat. Carry on.

I thought we were talking about in-game. Not practice... I figured by now they'd just throw in the towel and eliminate all hits on a QB. I mean, as it was last year you have to send a courier notice 10 minutes in advance to the other team to let them know you plan on tackling him right?

Lack of seriousness aside... I see the Bills are going all in on the undrafted kid from WSU who went 4-22 to start week one against the Patriots. While I realize WSU is absolutely god awful... I can't help but wonder what the line on that game is. How many TDs you think I'm safe spotting there Cape? 5? 6? Triple digit win?

Wow. Just wow.

Either

1) you're THAT stupid. Or
2) that is the dumbest joke in this entire thread.

Either way.... Derp

Or better yet, how bouts we compare both teams over the last decade, say 2001 - 2012:

Miami:

Regular Season: 88 - 104.
Playoff Appearances: 2
Playoff Record: 0 - 2

NYJ:

96 - 96
Playoff Appearances: 6
Playoff Record: 6 - 6

Darwin's ORIGINAL post on the matter involved YEARS in which the playoffs were reached, otherwise the number for NYJ would be 12, not 6. Hence, your fellow patriot couldn't follow logical reasoning and extrapolate what his reference numbers should be.

Let's add another team to the numbers: (2001-2012)

GB:

122-70
Playoff Appearances: 9
Playoff Record: 8-8
Super Bowl XLV Champions

Othwise, GB playoff appearances would be 16, not 9. Do you follow? Or is your brain so bogged down it is having trouble keeping up? :cross:

@Punity... If I didn't play it out as serious your joke wouldn't be that funny to begin with so suck it up and quit being such a damn baby for crying out loud.

Have to have a sense of humor first I guess. Dont worry some are born with it others just suck. But don't worry we won't hate you here.....well except Cape.

There is no way a Patriots fan would manipulate numbers to make their team look better. No way you liar!!!

So add 6 more to playoff appearances and the Pats still beat those 3 joke teams! Ha. You guys are still crying about Spygate? Everyone was doing it, but Mangina threw Bill under the bus. Look where he is now, while Bill is the greatest coach of all time. All these pu$$y fart teams looking for excuses as to why they suck; certainly not their fault, must be the Patriots fault. The bitterness on this thread is awesome. If we sucked, there would be no hate. It's not easy being at the top for over a decade.

Edit: I actually like the Packers and don't think they're a joke.

@Punity, Ouch. I'm hurt. I'd shed a tear but alas I'm having an allergic reaction atm and it'll have to wait.

And Krov, holy @#$%. Don't go overboard with that whole best coach of all time nonsense. Jebus...

Que. Please don't fix it on my account continue with your lack of oxygen, you seem to be surviving well without it so far.

My last jab for the night. I just took this poll on nfl.com and lets just say the results didnt surprise me. You can bring up as many stats as you want Darwin but at least Miami has a QB :D discuss!

Who should the Jets start at quarterback in Week 1?
15%Mark Sanchez
22%Geno Smith
13%Greg McElroy
7%Matt Simms
44%Bring Tim Tebow back
Total Votes: 128447

Would you like to: suck worst, suck, suck bad, hahaha, and wtf were your options?

And @Punity, actually it was with the eyes. Maybe God was trying to save me from the drivel...

That's too bad I was hoping this thread was getting a stroke of goodluck for once this offseason.

Geez, for someone who is a self-professed Dolphins fan you sure bring up the Jets a whole lot. Admit it, you're obsessed just like the preteen girls are with Bieber. It's okay. I'm sure you can buy a 2008 Favre jersey somewhere on the interwebs.

As for Miami having a QB...that is rather debateable.

These are the statistics for two NFL QBs during the 2012 season. The first is Ryan Tennehill. The second is a mystery QB.

Tannehill
COMP: 282
ATT: 484
COMP %: 58.3%
YARDS: 3,294
TDS: 12
INT: 13
YD Per COMP: 6.81
QB Rating: 52.3

Mystery QB
COMP: 453
ATT: 246
COMP %: 54.3%
YARDS: 2,883
TDS: 13
INT: 18
YD Per COMP: 6.36
QB Rating: 23.4

Tannehill isn't significantly better than Mystery QB, and has the benefit of playing one extra game than the Mystery QB last season. Additionally, Tannehill plays for the Dolphins who no one respects. The Dolphins last good season came with a blind head coach. Also, if they played all their games in S. Florida, they would have a shot at the playoffs, but come November/December the Dolphins will choke as they always do. No worries, they'll won't suck enough and will miss out the Teddy Bridgewater and J. Clowney sweepstakes.
