Not to change the topic but here's a weird little excercise for NFL fans... sit back, relax... close your eyes and think about how awesome you think your team is. Think about what good wins they've had this year and then think about the games they should have won... and sure... maybe they should have lost a couple but overall, you have to feel good about your team... now... picture your team... with Tom Brady as the QB instead of your crappy QB.

Huhhhhh??? Pretty sweet huh??

That's how Pats fans feel all the time.

You don't say? ;)

We actually made a family thing of it last weekend to watch the game... Celebrated my mom's birthday by having everyone over the house for homebrew, pretzels, and another dominating Pats win.

EDIT: And Hoppy, looks like I owe you an apology - I looked back over those old posts, and all I could spot was Punity arguing that there was no incontrovertible evidence on replay that the call was bad (maybe he has cataracts???)...

I believe the word is indisputable. In convertible sounds like something you do after prom.

Anyone read the article about eliminating kickoffs and the teams start with 4th and 15 where they can either punt or go for it.

Wtf is wrong with Goodell even entertaining this idea.

Fixed that for you.

Uggg.. that remains, by far and away, the most pansy-azz post anyone on HBT can make. "Fixed that for ya!!" Freakin' churns my stomach every time someone is so galactically lame to go with that.

From now on, those people should be "FTF's"... (Fixed That Fairies)

Is a punt return really going to be all that much less dangerous than a kickoff return, though? I guess you've got less bodies gunning all the way down the field, so maybe there's that...

But there's definitely a high level of irony that the guy proposing this idea to eliminate kickoffs - in the name of protecting players - is the same ******** coach who's been coaching his defense to rush opposing offenses who are taking knees in victory formations in games that have already been decided... Someone needs to be tackled into him, a la Sean Payton circa 2011, only significantly more violently.

" I fixed that for ya!!! I waved my lilttle magic wand and magically made your words change!! Aren't I just the most super duper mostest cleverest!?!"

... this is why I don't own a firearm.

Can I ask where your golden boy Brady is ranked amongst QB's for the year?

Here, let me just tell you...
#1 ? - Nope... Aaron Rodgers
#2 ? - Nope... Peyton Manning
#3 ? - Nope... RGIII
#4 ? - Nope... Alex Smith
#5 ? - FINALLY.... There he is...

This can't be relevant, where is Russell Wilson? Surely he is not below the lowly Tom Brady. Who would want Tom Brady and his piddley statistics on their team, when they could have Alex Smith.

As a Niner fan it is very evident that that particular statistic can be misleading. Exhibit A, Alex Smith sucks cock.
