With Dallas being so bad I hope GB doesn't start thinking all cocky. My avatar kicked some cowboy butt though that's for sure.

Time to get healthy & whoop some viking arse in 2 weeks.

Right on! And how about Woodson giving Clay all those props after the game? Charles is my hero.

I am very concerned that Collins will be suspended for his hit on Williams. Comments?

The Cowboys looked like a high school team. Seriously, by the end of the game I felt bad for them. That was the most pathetic professional sporting performance I can recall seeing.

Shecky - the day the greatest team since the dawn of time has to rely on THE LIONS for schedule help is the day that team has jumped the shark. :cross::mug:
I hear ya, man, I hear ya.

Alas, I don't think the Pats are that good. I wanted to see the Jets lose simply because I hate them. What really pissed me off is that unbelievably idiotic football played and coached by the Lions.

Really, it's not that hard.

First, for all of you crying about the Philly fans complaining about the call; STFU. It was an awful call (the refs were making awful calls all game) and it negated a turnover while giving Indy a first down. The league needs officials for the officials or they need to start throwing out fines to the officials making these awful calls.

Second, HOW BOUT THEM BROKEBACKS? 1-7 baby! How is that Super Bowl win in your own stadium looking now? AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

They booed the refs for trying to fix a game. So classless to expect the refs to keep integrity involved in the game.

Bad call is an understatement. Also, you conveniently forgot to point out how the Philly fans gave Collie cheers of support when he was moving as he was being taken off of the field. Then again you obviously have an agenda and that would counteract everything you're trying to do.

What a typical Eagles fan, blinded by your own homerness. I can't stand the way philly fans act, could even be worse than Pats fans.

I am so ****ing sick and tired and hearing nothing but "a vegas conspiracy" all day today.

Penalties and fines are being assessed based on whether the opponent gets hurt, not whether the "offending" player actually broke the rules or not. It sucks, but that's what the NFL policy has become. The penalty getting called on the guy who knocked out Collie, that's no different from Myron Pryor getting fined $7,500 for a perfectly 'legal' hit.

How 'bout DeSean Jackson wearing a special helmet with all kinds of anti-concussion stuff that the freakin' military has developed to limit the risk of concussions on guys who get, you know, BOMBED? If the League was serious about actually keeping their players from getting hurt, wouldn't they mandate that those helmets be used?

Oh but no, they can't do that with the helmets. Player safety is the most important thing to the league right now.... right after their sponsors and endorsments like from ridell.

Ding dong the witch is dead!

Phillips fired.

EDIT: Actually, the witch did the firing. As bad a job as Phillips did, in the end he's still a nice guy. And thankfully an ex-Cowboy.

You sound like a typical Philly fan. :gasp: You have no class!

Haha, sure. Go look at the hit and point out to me how you really think that was an incomplete pass, a defenseless receiver and an illegal hit. I've got a good 30-40 years before I die so I've got time.

It's sad. I care about player safety, but it's a violent game. You can't throw a flag just because someone gets hurt if it was a clean hit.

I've watched the replays, dude was unconscious before he hit the turf. The helmet-to-helmet contact may have been unintentional, but that was what knocked him out.

EDIT: I mean, the helmet of #42 hits Collie's head square on. I'm not saying the Eagle player MEANT to hit helmet-to-helmet, but there is no way you can possibly watch that replay and say that it wasn't a helmet-to-helmet hit that caused his concussion.

Obviously you're trying to make Philly fans out to be the worst fans in football. It's simply not true.

Well.........

........ it is true.

BLINDED!!!!!! Just like a philly fan. Just bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch. You all win and still all I hear is bitching.

No, but it wasn't a clean hit. It was a true violation of the rule. Just like the roughing call on manning at the end. Bitch all you want about it, but that is EXACTLY how the rule is written. You can argue that it is a ****ty rule, and I will probably agree with it but you can't say it wasn't a penalty.

I hope this isn't an insinuation that he got knocked out due to a helmet to helmet hit. That would be untrue.

Just like every other philly fan you are BLINDED!!!

Damn, philly fans really do drive me nuts. You can't tell them anything and they is no point in trying to argue with them. Best part is their love hate for EVERYONE. Just about every philly fan I know would go from saying mcnabb was a hall of fame 1st ballad then next week he was a bum and should bench him. I can't tell you how many times I have heard pretty much the same thing about Andy Reid. Then here is the best part, as soon as you call them out on it they deny ever saying it.

Really? Go 1:16 into the video the bird posted. You can clearly hear Philly fans booing the call (I don't think it was a good call) while Collie is lying on the ground not moving.

Cripes, the guy looks like he's paralyzed initially and they're booing the call. Sorry, but that's classless.

They ****ing booed santa claus!!!!

That is a helmet to helmet hit all the way. He would have hit H2H even without the initial hit. Good call by the refs and a dangerous play. If the focus is going to be removing H2H from the game, you can't go around apologizing for the hits. That hit was easily avoidable.

So was Collins' hit in the GB game. Both are stupid and I am fine with getting rid of them. Both of those hits could have been huge blow-up hits without the launched missile technique used by today's players.

I would boo Santa Claus. However, I agree that Philly fans are a bunch of dicks. You can call it intense, or passionate all you want. All everyone who isn't a Philly fans hears is "********".

Yes, we all kow your feelings towards santa. That is irrelevant though.

It was a blatantly obvious awful call. The fans shouldn't want integrity kept as part of the game? Once again, they cheered Collie for moving when he was being taken off of the field. Of course you won't talk about that though since it hurts your argument.
