Who would you pick if you are a FFB geek with the two most important positions to fill first. Me:

RB - Lacy (or #2)
QB - Rodgers (CLEARLY #1)

In 7 seasons he has played 105 games, averaging 15.3 yards per reception and has fumbled once. I beg you to find better stats than that.

He's catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. Nelson is at best a #2 receiver on any other team. Look at Eric Decker. 1300 yards and 11 TDS in 2013 catching passes from Peyton Manning to 960 yards and 5 TDs with Geno. My point is that Nelson is completely replaceable. There's only a few truly elite WRs in the NFL that you cannot just replace: Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green, and Julio Jones come to mind. I don't even think Nelson makes a current top 10 best WR list let alone the label of best receiver in the game.

I would take consistency in catching the ball over having my QB smoother a receiver in passes like Johnson. Obviously Johnson and Bryant bring something different to the table, but all things considered (on/off the field) I would take Nelson any day of the week. Consistency in the NFL if hard to come by.

Johnson has 12 fumbles compared to ONE in 7 seasons

Green has 3 fumbles in just 4 seasons

Jones also has 3 fumbles in 4 seasons

Nelson plays on a good team, that is balanced with talent. The rest of these guys are targeted more then anyone else on their team, because their team sucks. Therefore, they all have better odds of having larger reception stats. Nelson is the most consistent of the group and that cannot be argued.

Maybe I'd have more respect if instead of making his family even more money he was using all that time (12+ hours a day) to help other more altruistic causes. ****, I know we hero worship farmers in this country but it's not like he's helping humanity here. He's putting more money in his family's pockets.

I'm going to call it now before it goes down.

In a classic retard move only the New York Jets could pull off, Jay Cutler will be playing in NY. He'll last ten games before imploding and hitting a gaggle of reporters with Kristen Cavallari. The Jets will pay an exorbitant price for Jay, absorb all of his salary, end up in salary cap hell (again), and then listen as Chicago's front office cackles to PTI about they fleeced NY.

Honestly, this is the best possible thing that could happen to the JETS. Geno Smith plays well enough for his team to win what, maybe one or two games a season? When he was with the Bills, Ryan Fitzpatrick always used to play well just about half his games. The other half... well, he played like Geno Smith. Harvard boy would make some of the stupidest throws you can imagine, but at least at TIMES he looked decent.

Geno made some incredibly stupid decisions last season. Not Mark Sanchez bad, but still bad. Geno has all the athletic skills to be a great QB but his decision making was terrible. Season 3 is usually when a QB either takes the big leap forward or is destined for a career as a league backup.

The only positive is that this is a team built on defense. You don't need to score 35 points a game to win. If the Fitzpatrick can get the Jets to 24 - 28 points a game they'll be at least a .500 team. I think Bryce Petty could be a very good player if given the chance to develop. I just didn't want to see him during the regular season for another couple years.
