Hey folks I have had some oak chips soaking in bourbon for more than a month.... stupid question but is there a limit to how long I can soak these for before I whack them into my beer... I'm guessing no but I want to be sure.

Cheers for any help.

Nope. Leave them as long as you like. The only thing you need to be careful of is adding them to a beer. Chips impart wood flavor faster than cubes or spirals, so keep on eye on that. Too long and too much and your beer will taste like wood chips.

Cheers man, they are actually cubes I'm planning on whacking them in the secondary for 2 weeks.... How does that sound? I'm going to have a search around to see how people have been doing it.
