NYC/Long Island meet-up soon?

Is there a reason this thread hasn't mentioned the New York City Homebrewer's Guild? There's really no reason for a homebrewer in NYC to have never met another homebrewer!

Years ago when I brewed I would go to NYCHG, and also MBAS, but since coming back I have not. I've been thinking of coming back to the meetings.

The meetings are good - interesting speakers, including brewers/brewery reps with samples. The meetings are very busy, apparently membership has something like doubled in the past year.

Another option as to location is Brouwerij Lane. It's a growler/bottle shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. They have 19 taps and an excellent selection of bottled beer. You can drink on the premises and half pints are $2 and full pints $4. The manager/employees are also homebrewers and we could bring in homebrew to sample...
