Bringing Sour Back
Anecdotally my last batch of cider I used a secondary vessel and let it age for maybe a few months.
Part of the batch I pitched some fresh yeast at bottling. It had full carbonation in about 2-3 days (I use a special technique).
The other part of the batch I bottled maybe a month later and forgot to add fresh yeast. This was several weeks ago and it's still not carbonated.
4 grams per liter is plenty (about 1.8 volumes CO2)
You could open the bottles and add a speck of yeast if you don't want to wait, but it should carbonate eventually.
