SO a friend is coming over today to brew a maple porter with English yeast (whitelabs English ale WLP002). We forgot to double up yeast vials since we don't have time for a starter so we are low on cell count with just one vial. I have a packet of s-05 in the fridge. Can i thrown that in there to make up for the low cell count? Will it interfere with the flavors of the English yeast strain?

well i also have some notty, and a Mangrove Jack's Burton Ale M79 Dried Yeast. since notty can be a bit of a beast, maybe the burton ale? I've heard mixed reviews of it.
