I've been brewing a little over a year, and still have plenty to learn, yet thanks to what I've learned here I decided to enter a couple beers into a contest. The one I thought was good didn't do well in the judging likely due to my entering the wrong category, but the second beer placed third. Entering contests for feedback and getting some validation is nice too. So thank you to all of you who generously contribute to this forum!
