I'm looking at getting a 15 gallon kettle and it's down to these two the northern brewer tall boy kettle and their megapot 1.2 other than the silicone coated handle I don't see much difference . They are both 4mm tri clad bottom

I have the megapot and love it. really like the graduated markers on the inside.

Also looks like the amount of gallons Is etched on inside for money difference etching and silicone handles isn't worth it

I want to do full five gallon extract and then move to all grain should I get 10 or 15 gallon.... Leaning towards 15 since I would be able to do 5 or 10 gallons in the 15

I purchased a tall boy in December and have 1 brew one it. It is quite nice. I think it is a better value. It would be nice to have the markers inside, but I just marked a dowel. You will likely be happy either way.

I purchased the 15 gallon one. My first batch on it was a 5 gallon batch and it worked great. I'm very pleased with the purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
