Northern brewer batch size help

Hi All - I'm doing my first kit from Norther Brewer ( Chinook IPA). I'm trying to figure out the batch size ( 5, 5.25, or 5.5 gallons ) that i should use in order to calculate my sparge water / pre boil amounts.

Any help? Thanks!

I think they are designed as 5 gallon kits. If you are using brewing software like promash or something just make sure the critical stats such as original gravity and bitterness are inline with what the directions say. For instance if you assume 5.5 gal and the resulting OG is low then decrease to 5 or 5.25.

They have most of their recipes on I brewmaster os of your gonna stick with NB batches ibrewmaster might be a good option for u.
