Hello,

I have completed my first brew (Oktoberbest Ale) and am in my first week of fermentation. Everything seems to be going well. I'm looking forward to bottling but am giving my brew a d rest and will wait till next Sunday.

I'm writing this thread as a thank to the people on this site that give such great, and specific, advice to new comers with wide eyes. The below items are all recommendations found on this site that have helped or simplified my first brew.

1. Recommendation of "How to Brew" and "The Complete Joy of Home Brewing"
2.Wyeast 2124 for warmer climate brews
3. Don't worry about a second fermenter yet
4. PBW (seriously the best cleaner ever. The grime rinsed away.)
5. Understanding of math intensive content
6. And so much encouragement

I'm grateful for you guys and gals so if you want pictures of of the final product just suscribe or check back some other time.

Cheers,

Brent
