I ordered the three keg set up from Keg Connection and there are no hose/tubing clamps where the picknick tap connects, just shoved in. Is this a problem or should I go buy some. It would suck to have those things blow off in the middle of the night. Why would they not put those on?

you don't need them. I use 3/16 tubing on 1/4 barbs everywhere. No problems. It is tough to get them on to the barbs, you have to put the hose in some near boiling water for a while to make them soft. I use the same set up on my gas hose and run them up to 30 psi with no leaks.

This is pennywise pound foolish. How much is a batch of beer on the kegger floor worth?

if you have any doubts about it, sure put a hose clamp on.

i have zero doubts that my press fit taps arent going to come off without anything short of a razor blade, so im going to save a clamp.

i would add one. Search the forum and you will find threads where hoses have come off. It might happen very rarely, insurance is $1. Why gamble?

I think i will add some, I'm sure I have some laying around some where, as long as I don't over tighten, it should hurt any thing.
