No decoction and no melanoidin

I brewed this - https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=110497 -and did not decoction mash. I was going to add melanoidin malt instead as it seems a good substitute to decoction mashing, but, I spaced it, and just used all pilsener and a little carapils. So is my beer going to suck? Or be mediocre?

Should be really good. What's your water like were you live? Or did you use bottled/distilled?

You're just not going to get some rich malty deep melanoid flavors but it should be a good beer.

A little melanoid malt goes a long way in my opinion.

It will come out seemingly drier and thinner, which might be a good thing.

I've also heard you can get better control over the wheat yeast strains ester profile with it
