I tested my first batch and no fizz:(

Bottled my first brew 2 weeks ago (total age of brew is six weeks) set it aside to carbonate...last week I put 2 in the fridge to sample after sitting for a week in the cold...uncapped one and was a little disasapointed. Is this too soon or have I made a mistake somewhere?

I followed all the instructions to the "T"

Beer has a pretty good flavor:)

For the first couple of weeks after bottling I'd store the bottles at 70 degrees and a little warmer then that wouldn't hurt.

I have been storing them at room temp. except for the 2 I stuck in the fridge.
I will try to get the temp up above 70 for the next few weeks.

Thanks

OK, So I warmed up the bottles, the guys I work with wanted to try my "first brew"...

I put a few in the cooler so they are nice and cold...meet with the fellas, a nice pop occurs when I pry on the cap, the taste is really good and crisp, and it keeps a good "head" in the bottle. I poured one in a glass not much head and kinda flat tasting. I am confused.
