Nitro Beers, Other Than Stout

From another thread i read on here the coffee people frown upon beergas as they claim that co2 gives coffee an acidic flavor very rapidly.
Some are using straight nitro and claiming that they are getting a `cascade` similar to guinness pours.

Yup. My lhbs uses straight nitro and it looks just like guiness. No acidic like flavors at all.

I usually rotate a stout and an Irish red on my nitro tap.

I knew an Irish red would work!

i have an esb on nitro now. had a dark mild.

I've had a Black IPA on nitro before and it was ok but I probably wouldn't have it again. My opinion is that malty beers are much nicer on nitro than hoppy beers.
