Hey! I'm not a beer newbie, but I am a homebrew/kegging newbie, south of Boston or if you prefer north of Providence.

I have always just bought my local beers bottled but I was just given a nonworking Beverage Air BM23C... so, of course, I must get this beast working again. That is my quest.

Welcome! You in the South Shore somewhere? I'm from the Cape.

Plainville, within taunting distance of the Outlets.

So first thing up for me is figuring out where to start fixing this kegerator. Is there some recommended reading I should start with? I haven't found any sticky threads on this topic and don't want to start asking newbie questions on things that are well documented.

Save yourself a lot of time and agravation and head over to The Witches Brew in Foxboro. Steve will fix you right up.

I will do this. Thanks for the pointer! I definitely want to fix myself, I'm pretty handy, but a local expert is always a great thing to have in one's pocket.
