Hello all, my brother and I are just getting started in brewing. We bought a starter kit from Brewmeister in Folsom and ran our first batch a few weeks ago. It turned out great. The one thing we noticed was how fast a 5 gal batch goes. So with that in mind, I built him a keg kettle for his birthday tomorrow. We can't wait to try it out. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1390445317.596498.jpg we thought we'd run a few batches and step up to a 3 tier setup. Being a fabricator and an industrial electrician, I can't wait for the big build. Haha.

Thanks. I'm in Arden Park and he's in Rancho Murieta. For now we're keeping the setup at his house. With all of my metal equipment, 3 bikes and my Gf's car in the garage, I'm tight for room until I build a shop or shed.

Excellent. Brewmeister is a great shop, too! Shout out to Zack at the Roseville store!

Welcome to brewing!

Will do. I've only been over there once this weekend to buy the kettle parts and the guy was great. Spent a bunch of time walking around with me showing me what stuff is. I'm huge on customer service so even if it's more money, I have no problem spending it with a good shop.

That's super nice! I miss Sac, kinda consider it my second home city. I lived in the area for a few years mainly in Auburn and most recently in Chico. By the way I absolutely love Sierra Nevada and couldn't stay away from the brewery while I was there. Good job with the keg.
