Yo guys, I'm new to the forum and I joined because I'm going to start brewing my own stuff soon. Went to college in the yup and loved all the microbrews, and have always wanted to brew my own. I now live in Indiana and for the past 6 years, I've had the assumption that you need a lot of space. Well there's not a lot of space in my current apartment nor was there any in college. After speaking with a store clerk about brewing this past weekend, I found out it doesn't take much room at all so I'm going to go for it. My birthday is next Tuesday and I asked for a bunch of brewing stuff. What I don't get I'll buy over the next week then begin brewing next weekend! Haven't figure out what I'm going to do first, but probably something close to an Amber of some sort. Just wanted to step in and say hi!

I also got a little motivation from my local brewery shutting down after being open for only 9 months. RIP Brickworks

Pretty everything you need, and pretty cheap. You would need a pot to boil the stuff in, which if your doing extracts a 4 gallon pot is big enough.

My first kit was a brewers best RED ALE. It was pretty easy and turned out delicious, I highly recomend it.
