Newb from Jersey soon to be Vegas

Hi I've been lurking for a while now. I haven't brewed yet but can't wait to try it. Im currently stationed in New Jersey but will be moving to Las Vegas in February. So I guess my new hobby will have to wait a little longer.

I've been reading thread after thread for weeks. Thanks guys for all the great info and convincing me to get started right away...

Welcome! I use to be stationed in Las Vegas as well. I left back in June 2009. There is only one home brew store in the valley though (at least since I was there) called Vegas Homebrew on West Charleston Blvd. Steve is the owner and he is a great guy. He will help you with anything you need and you can call him at anytime. He can help you pick out some equipment and a few tips on keeping the fermenter cool in the Vegas heat.
