I had a 10' 3/8 coil of copper seemed like it took my new ran hour to cook I recently bought 25' of half inch I was just wandering if it would cool quicker and how long is to long to chill the wort
I don't think there is to long. People on here leave it overnight before they pitch yeast. I personally like it to cool rather quickly. I made a 25' 3/8" chiller that cools down to 70 in about twenty minutes, so I think 1/2" would be even faster than that.
