HI
I have just very recently started making my own wine. I live in Manchester England with a damp temperate climate, the days above 20 degrees are low in number and thus is there any yeast's available which operate at a lower temperature?
I aim on doing all my winemaking in my semi-insulated shed. The temperature range on the yeast's I have at home is from 20 -27 degrees. That certainly is not sustainable throughout the year.

I'm not an expert but I'd say white wines with champagne yeasts should do just fine.
