I recently started home brewing. I brewed a batch of winter ale and made a mistake. After pour the wort into the primary I added "Pearle" yeast which I had given an energizer pack. I put the lid on the bucket but forget the airlock. I put the airlock on causing the rubber o-ring to shoot through into the wort. So I strained the wort out, got the rubber o-ring (which was at the bottom), and poured the wort back into the primary. Then I sealed it properly. Is this going to damage the wort and/or the yeast? If so, are there steps to correct this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Was the o-ring sanitized? Was everything else sanitized? If everything that came into contact with the wort was sanitized then there is no problem.
