Hello! I'm a relatively new home brewer living in Nashua, NH. I've got the benefit of having a brew supply shop within 1/4 mile from my house, and they guy who runs it loves to talk about everything beer related.
Anyway, my friend and I were going to do a batch at IncrediBrew, but decided just to get some equipment and do our own thing. So I picked up "The Complete Joy of Homebrewing" and haven't looked back since! I've brewed 5 batches of Extract based brew (Honey Porter, Summer Solstice Ale, Honey Brown, Depthcharge IPA and most recently a Fireside Winter Warmer) and have had a blast doing them all. I'd eventually like to try all grain brewing to get a feel for as much as the process as possible.
I'd like to learn more about the brewing process as I go and hopefully make a better batch each time.
I'm not sure what else to say, so I'll leave it at that...
Oh yeah, the brew shop near me is called Jasper's (www.boomchugalug.com). Jeff's been a big help to me as a newbie, so I figure a plug is the least I can do!
