New to cider

I'm new to brewing all together. I want to start with cider. Can anyone give me a good apple coder recipe and instructions on how to make it. Preferably a small batch. Like a gallon. But I can go up to a 5 gallon batch

I am also fairly new to brewing and am almost at the point where I will be bottling my first batch, is there any benefit of glass over plastic? I was planning on using washed out soda bottles. I am worried it would effect carbonation as the bottles could expand possibly when the CO2 is released instead of forcing it into the cider. Thoughts?

Plastic pop bottles hold significantly more pressure than glass. And if you overcarb glass, they can explode...good luck!

I've overcarbed glass beer bottles and none if them view up on me, but they site shot a geyser of cider all over the place!

if done properly your cider will not have as much co2 pressure as what soda has.
