ok im new to home brewing just brewed my first one Saturday, it is in days 3ish of fermenting and almost stopped? that's not my point/question for this thread. my point/question is what would be a good one to try next as far as kit wise(FYI this one that I have fermenting is an English brown Ale). as inferred I am looking for ingredient kits until I get used to brewing. thanks in advance for any advise:rockin:

if anyone could give me a good reason why its "almost" stopped bubbling, that would be great. I only say "almost because im so damn busy at work that I hardly have 5 minutes to check and make sure shes good temp and ****.......also if anyone has brewed an English brown ale what a good time for each phase. again thanks for any advise

Welcome! It's not uncommon for the most active part of fermentation to occur in the first 3-4 days. The yeast will finish up and clean up after themselves, which may be less visible, so just let it be for a bit. As far as kits, what kinds of beer do you like to drink?

A lot of kits will tell you to bottle really soon. DON`T DO THAT. Let it sit for about three weeks total (good rule of thumb with plenty of exceptions) then prime and bottle then try to resist the temptation to drink it for another few weeks. My very first beer tasted like crap until nearly six week out and by that time it was 90% drunk. It is possible to make beer with a quicker turnaround and sme styles benefit from being drunk young but when you`re starting out really give the beer time.
