New to Brewing - From DC!

Hi Everyone,
I am new to home brewing and i have become obsessed with it already. I've made a few batches so far, and I am now looking to build a brewing system. Any suggestions/info about anything (on any subject) that you would like to share with me would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting to know many of you soon.

Get really good @ extract kits, evenutually move to controlled fermentation temps from starters. Once you've got that down, only your imagination and budget limit you from there.

Question for anyone on converting kegs to brew pots. Is there a preferred keg material. Aluminum vs an old stainless. The old stainless ones are harder to come by!
