Built a Sanke fermenter.
Fairly easy and it works really well so far.
2 batches down and no issues yet.
I traced the inside of the TC ferule on the keg with the sharpie held off the side so there was about 3/16" inside the ferrule. I cut the hole with angle grinder and a cut off blade then cleaned up the hole. I wanted the hole to finished before I clamped the 6" TC ferule to the keg and lined the inside and outside with a bead of solder and some harris flux. Slowly worked the solder and torch around then buffed and polished the inside joint. 6" TC lid has a ball lock gas and liquid port soldered to it, used a Brewhardware solder on fitting for the ball lock connectors. I attached a floating clear beer line liquid line....works awesome.Keg holds pressure. Getting samples is a breeze while fermenting. Cleaning is a super easy with the 6" hole in the top and the 2" hole in the bottom.
Hope this inspires others.
