Let's take a philosophical approach solving the question:
Q: If you have nothing and you divide it among no-one, what would each have?
You would have nothing... or everything... a void, or null, or the universe itself... It might even convert to Dark Matter if left alone in the vast cold void of space.

Uhhh, what were we here for, and what is our reason for existence? Oh yeah... Welcome, WinoJo.

Sorry, @WinoJo, didn't mean to hijack your first thread. OK, I kinda did. Anyway, welcome to HBT. Hit us with your questions and keep us posted on your brews.

I highly recommend getting a copy of John Palmers How to Brew, 4th edition. It will teach you how to make your first beer in a few (six?) chapters but also is a great reference as you get deeper into the hobby.
It certainly is a wonderful book to learn homebrewing. And once you're a seasoned homebrewer it's a solid reference to everything homebrewing. Alas, it's a long read, even the first few chapters on how to get started can be a bit abstract or even intimidating.

There are probably plenty of short tutorials and YouTube vids that would be better suited.
We have quite a few threads on the very topic on how to brew your first batch here on our forums.

To the OP, @WinoJo be aware, most instructions that come with recipe (ingredients) kits are usually not informative enough to brew a batch.
