Hi guys,

I'm from Western Australia and work in gold mining.
I restarted brewing during COVID times and have been pretty consistent since then, but have always bottled it. I guess I got tired of washing them, so just bought a keg system. This site has great info on what I needed to know to change over so I thought I'd sign up.

Normally I brew pale ales with a few of the darker beers but always set down some dark ales for winter months.

G'day, welcome to the forum. South Australian here, new to brewing but I'm sticking to cider and mead for now. I've been drinking Cooper's Ale since the 80s and I'm never happy with anything else, so if there's no Cooper's I usually drink cider and I'm not so fussy about that, so I thought that would be the best bet.
Cheers mate!

Welcome from the sometimes sunny San Francisco bay area. I did bottles for about my first two or three brews and found a good deal on a used dorm fridge that was converted to a kegerator. I bought a torpedo keg and off I went. I still bottle once in a while but kegging is my main way of doing things now.
