Hi all!

I am Mike, and I live in Maine (tho I am really a Kentucky boy.) A little over 10 years ago, I brewed several batches, but soon life got in the way. I moved to Maine 3 1/2 years ago, specifically to simplify my life. It has worked! I now have a lot more free time, so decided to start up brewing again.

I currently have a brown ale (from a kit) in primary. I am off to KY for the weekend. When I get back I am going to rack to secondary. I hope to have it bottled and conditioned by early to mid January, as a wine making friend is having a wine tasting, and I hope to take a few bottles of the ale, for sampling.

I am not sure what I am going to go for next. Any ideas?

Mike

Bee Cave Brewery's Haus Pale Ale is pretty popular. I just tapped into a batch of this I did last month for game night, and I don't think much will make it through to the game ;) I think the recipe is linked through the recommended recipes sticky in the recipe forum.

Welcome to the site from a fellow transplant! :mug:

Hey hey.. another Maine brewer!

When you get back, head up to the homebrew shop in Farmington, ask them for a good seasonal to start on. I am sure there are some deals / specials going on.
